Markus González, professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Barcelona and member of the MORE project, challenges the prevalent misconceptions surrounding migration in a recent interview held on 18 October at Mes_324 interviewed by Marina Romero.
During the interview professor González highlights that the leading political narrative in Europe has adopted a reductionist approach to migration, framing irregular migration as a problem and deportation as the sole solution, despite empirical research contradicting both perspectives.
