Ca’ Foscari University of Venice is organizing a conference on the living and detention conditions of migrants detained in Detention Centers for Repatriation in Italy, with a focus on their physical and mental health conditions as well as the functioning mechanisms of these centers.
The conference features Nicola Cocco of the Italian Society of Migration Medicine, Lorenzo Figoni author of a book on these centers, and Francesca Cimino as discussant. The conference will take place at the University of Venice, San Basilio.
